Summary

Random Word Kit is a browser-first tool site. The word generators run entirely in your browser: your word lists, saved words, and history stay on your device and are never uploaded by the tools themselves.

What we collect

• Optional analytics. If you choose “Allow analytics”, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand anonymous page usage and how the tools are used. These tags do not load before your choice. Choosing “Not now” does not stop the generators from working.
• Shared lists. If you create a share link, the generated word list and its filter settings are stored so the link can be opened later. Shares expire automatically after 90 days.
• Contact messages. If you use the contact form, we store the message and the optional email address you provide.

Local storage

Saved words and your most recent generation result are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes them.

Cookies and advertising

The site currently runs no third-party advertising scripts. Optional analytics may use cookies or local storage after you allow it. If advertising is enabled in the future, this policy will be updated before any ad script loads, and cookies used for advertising will be described here.

Word definitions shown on this site come from Wiktionary and are reused under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, with attribution linked from every definition.
